Robbery at Municipal Administrator’s house in Bhimber

Bhimber: Robbery at Raja Shahid Anwar’s (Municipal Administrator) house in Bhimber. Robbers were fully armed and they broke into the house by climbing up the walls of the house last night. They captivated the members of the house and took 4 lac rupees worth jewelry, Rs. 30, 000 and two mobile phones with them. One member of the house sneaked out and called the neighbors for help. Robbers opened the fire but one of them got caught. Police arrived at the place of incident and started investigating.
According to details, four robbers with covered faces broke into Raja Shahid’s house last night around 10 o’clock. They captivated the members of the house at gun point and took 4 lac rupees worth jewelry, Rs. 30, 000 and two mobile phones. Raja Shahid’s son, Usman Shahid succeeded in sneaking out of the house and called the neighbors for help. Robbers opened the fire and people from the area crowded the house. They caught one robber while other three succeeded in running away in the dark.
The robber named Shahzad Mushtaq s/o M. Mushtaq, caste Rajput from Saraye Alamgir, who got caught told the police that all four of them belong to Saraye Alamgir while police inspects that the master mind of this robbery is from Bhimber. Police couldn’t find other culprits but has filed an FIR against them and has started the investigations.
