A dispute sprouted between uncle and nephew because of their ancestral land. The dispute led to murder of 35 year old Sheraz, also known as Irfan. Ten members of both the parties were injured and the severe injuries were referred to Mirpur. Police reached the spot as soon the scene was reported. DSP Chaudhry Mohammad Rafiq, PDSP Raja Ahsfaq Ahmad Khan, and others reached the site as they got to know about the case.
Assistant Commissioner, Chaudhry Haq Nawaz, alerted the Samahani Hospital to provide first aid to the injured. After post mortem, Irfan’s dead body was handed to his family. Police filed a case against 18 suspects and Muhammad Razzak, also known as Shaqir, and Aijaz.
On interrogation, it was found that the dispute was prevailing from a number of days and Sheraz, who was visiting Pakistan from England, was involved in this dispute. Recently, the conflict had turned into a more intense one and it resulted in Sheraz’s murder. Murder of Sheraz left everyone mourning. Funeral prayer of Sheraz took place in his village, Bhimla, and many renowned officers were a part of it.
