A man climbed a 300 feet long Electricity Pole inside Mirpur Police station to record protest against his wife, arrested in robbery case.
In a robbery case at Ex State Officer MDA Sardar Taseer Ahmed, SHO Javed-ur-Rehman took housemaid Zuhra in custody for inquiry. Zaheer Shah husband of Zuhra, arrived at police station in a manner of some movie hero and threatened them with his suicidal attempt, by climbing over a pole of 300 long feet.
Police called Ex State Officer MDA Sardar Taseer Ahmed immediately, who forgave maid to close the case. After this extreme effort of police, Zaheer came down off the pole and got arrested in case of suicidal attempt. Raja Irfan Saleem (SSP, Mirpur), suspended both Raja Javed-ur-Rehman (SHO) and 2 policemen for negligence during their duty. To be noticed; SHO Javed-ur-Rehman is the same person responsible for slapping a poor hawker man in Dadyal, and was suspended for that.
